Plants grow on other plants without parasiting them. What is the influence on each other? Who is helping who? And what is the hierarchy if there is any?
Same with humans. We influence each other, we feed (from) each other. What we do has consequences, everything we do has an effect on something or someone else.
Do we want to be an epiphyte or a parasite? Or, are we an epiphyte, or are we a parasite?
